Is this a good guitar to buy?
I had a yamaha pacifica that broke every four months so I've decided to get this

I've had a look and a few people have said it's really good and all, and I really like it.
There is one problem though - being in the UK, I don't know whether or not it's a good idea to get it, but I looked all over the place to find one in the UK and they're all ridiculously expensive. I guess my question is, should I get it from the US just so it will save money?

It turns out my parents can't afford the thing at the moment as they haven't got enough money in the bank, so can anyone try and find it for me in the UK for relatively cheap?
Although the Warlock is definitely a step up from the Yamaha, it's a lower end guitar. I own one, but I own an old NJ series Warlock with a Kahler tremolo on it. One thing I can say is that it is uncomfortable to play sitting down, and has a bit of a headstock dive (if you stand and let go of the guitar, the headstock dips). But, if you pick this up for $300, you will get what you are paying for. Id suggest saving a little more or getting something used on Ebay. The ESP EC series is pretty decent as is Mexican Fender Stratocasters (get one with a humbucker in the bridge) and the Ibanez SZ series if you are not a fan of tremolo's. If you do like tremolo's, take a look at the Ibanez RGT42DX or ESP/LTD MH-250 or MH-300. All these guitars can be bought for around $250-$350 on Ebay, used.
As for the Vox gizmo, its ok, but a little tinny. But what can you expect? IMO, if you hear the electric guitar over the amp, the amp isn't worth having. They make a few portable amps like the Pignose, and Marshall has a ministack that runs on batteries. They all cost around the same thing as this Vox.
