Which guitar effects (specifically wah) should I buy?
im going to buy a distortion pedal and wah and maybe some other stuff. I was thinking a boss distortion but which one is better: The DS-1 or DS-2. Also for wahs have no clue which is the best for quality or customization. I was thinking the new Budwah, an original crybaby, or a Vox V847. And if there are any ones i havn't listed feel free to tell me. lastly does anyone know any other weird effect that make you sound like your not even playing a guitar anymore?
Another option too is that i could just get a multi-effects unit but again, which one is best the boss ME-20 looks good???
and my playing style isnt funky or metal if that helps. Im more into Hendrix and Pink Floyd. Psychedelic stuff like that.

Hello there,
The Boss DS-1 is a good basic distortion pedal. Sort of the standard for beginning guitarits. I also prefer it over the DS-2.
I am not a fan of multi-fx pedals. I prefer to pick and choice the tones I want rather than accept some pre-packaged one size fits all mulit-fx.
For a wah, I think there is none better than the Dunlop Crybaby.
I would think a fuzz pedal would be a good fit for your sound
