What is the best pedal for blues guitar with a Fender Blues Jr. Tube Amp?
I just recently purhcased a Blues Junior Tube Amp. And I just love the warm sound (probably consistent with all tube amps), but I can't get that super clean "Eric Clapton" tone with it. I am running a Fender American Standard Strat through it ( 3 single coils ) and I can't find that perfect clean Clapton sound with it. Any suggestions to a pedal/pedals would be greatly appreciated. There's not much distortion on this amp, really need to crank it up to get any, hope someone has some input on a great pedal/pedals for me. Please let me know ASAP all you "axe heads" out there!
The Jr is a nice little amp, but It is almost too small to get a great clean sound,
i like the Blues Deluxe, 40 watts, 1x12" speaker.
The Ibanez Tube Screamer is still the best little distortion pedal.
