Which bass amp head would give the best modern rock bass tone?
I play in a band and im looking for a great amp to play live. i like bass tone that has the low end but can be aggressive too. (ex Tool, Linkin Park, Etc) What bass amp head should i look into?
How much cash you looking to spend? I have used a SUN bass head that had good sound but the power was lacking, a Fender (older tube style) Super Twin Reverb head for my bass (Fender Presision) using half round strings two 15 inch and 4 8 inch speakers (great power and sound) and my last was a Macintash 2500 amp paired with a Mac Pre-amp through the same speakers (WOW)
