What is a good guitar amp to use for stomp boxes?
I have a pretty big gig here in a couple weeks, and have a little money to throw out on an amp. I am currently using a Crate GX-212(which sucks SOO bad!!!), and I need something better that doesn't get all muddy sounding when using a heavy distortion. I don't need any special effects, just a good amp to run my pedals through. I know all about the Fender Twin Reverb and Roland JC-120. I've even looked into the Marshall MHZ amps. Those all might be just a little out of my range though. Any ideas?
Get a Randall Warhead. This head rips even if you don't play heavy metal. You won't regret it. I think it is around a grand though.
