or do you like it dry, no frills, in your face, raw and mean with no effects like Reign In Blood, Despised Icon, Job For A Cowboy, and Deathmagnetic?

Can you post an example of your favorite distortion sound? I'm deciding how to set my sound, and want input on what the masses want to hear.
I have two favorite distortion sounds, the Gothenburg style (kinda the inverse of scooped) and that of Dismember/Entombed (and some Hypocrisy, depends on the album/song). The two are a little similar, except the Gothenburg sound is much warmer sounding. The Dismember sound is hard to describe (some call it 'chainsaw distortion'), but I do so by saying you can 'hear every little particle of the distortion', and the sustain is forever......For my own playing I tend to go for the Gothenburg sound, also the Dismember/Hypocrisy sound is (for me at least) very hard to perfect and when you get close, it doesn't record well.
