Can a distorion pedal be connected to an amp that already has distortion? effects?
For example, the Line6 Spider II series 30 watt. It has a lot of effects. Can a distortion pedal like the Boss DS-1 be connected to the amp eeven though it already has the effects?
I know i can connect the pedal. Let me rephrase the questoin. CAN YOU CONNECT THE PEDAL AND WILL THE PEDAL WORK WITH THAT AMP?
Yes, there's nothing stopping you from connecting a distortion or any other pedal to your amp. Just plug your guitar into the pedal and the pedal into the amp. Signal won't be as clean but that's how it used to be done before amps with signal processing and digital effects boxes.
