Guitar overdrive pedals?
I want to give my amp a tube amp sound. what is a good overdrive pedal? what is the difference between all the different ibanez tube screamers?
Tube Screamers are s**t. The vintage ones are good, but everything released since the mid-90s is crap.
The best option is the SansAmp Tri AC. It actually models 3 different tube amps... a Marshall, a Fender, and a Mesa Boogie, with the tube sound of each. And it has all analog circuitry. It sounds wonderful... as close to real tube distortion I've heard without an actual tube.
Or... you can get a tube amp. *shrug*
