HELP!! whats wrong with my guitar?
it is a fender tc-p90 thinline. i had just finished taking a short break after jamming with my friend. we decided to jam again when all of a sudden it stopped working. it plays very quietly on the clean channel. i'll turn up my 150watt amp all the way and barely hear the guitar. it plays fine on the dirty channel tho, but with pedals it sounds like ****. also, when i use my pedals, especially my sansamp gt2, there is feedback. i didn't used to get any feedback.
i've tired using another amp and the same thing happens. i also plugged into a bass amp and it played a lot quieter than it should but not as much as my guitar amp. i plugged my bass through my pedals into the bass amp with no feedback so i don't think the pedals are the problem.
i've looked at the wiring and i found that 2 wires were about to come loose and one was loose. i resodered them and i still have the same problem. the volume knob had been a little loose as well as the input.
You sure it's not one of your cables or power cords?
Happened to me twice, and I had the same symptoms as you.
try another cable or another power source for oyur pedals.
