How to hook guitar pedal to amplifier?
So I just bought a Rocktron Short Timer Retro Digital Delay guitar pedal, but seeing the instructions, it shows the wires being hooked from the pedal to the amplifier in the "Effects Return" and "Effects Send" slots. I have an Ibanez IBZ10G amplifier that does not appear to have those two slots. The only open slots it has is the "Input" (which will be used for my guitar), "CD In", and "Phones". So what does this mean? Does this mean I cannot connect my pedal to this amp?
Or is there an alternative connection/circuit I could do?
That circuit that the instructions show is usually on bigger amps. What you need to do is buy another guitar cable. Plug one end into your guitar, and the other end into the INPUT jack on the PEDAL. Then, take the other cable and plug one end into the OUT jack on the pedal, and the other end into the input of the amp.
