I have a ATI 3d rage pro 32mb agp card I have direct3d 7 problems can anyone help me please?
This is what the problems says direct3d 7 test results: failure at step 32 (user verification of 3d rendering): hresult = 0x00000000 (error code), can anyone help please cos it's driving me crazy, I have been looking in mant different forums to no avail. Thanks loads
first of all if your card is 32mb, then it is not particularly modern, unless of course it integrated and you are sharing some of your system memory with this card. however, ati 3d rage card sounds like it is an add-in card, i.e. not integrated (part of your motherboard).
unfortunately, this means a lot of questions to surmise your problem.....
when do you get the error (during a game, dvd playback?)
windows version
age of computer
version of directx, this one not so important at the moment, although direct3d 7 sounds like directx7
could it be that your running win98 with 64mb of ram?
it sounds from what you have written, that you are running a dxdiag display test!
