Acid Pro 6.0 and real time guitar effects processing.?
I love the softsynth feature on acid 6.0 when using reason.. Here's my question..
I have my guitar plugged into my small amp. From the amp I am running a stereo audio cable into my sound card.
Is there any way to get real time effects while recording.. So I can hear the wah or flange while playing?.. If not does anyone know of a program that can process guitar effects and can softsynth with acid?
The big picture is I have no guitar effects processor, but would like to record with effects in sync with reason.. Thanks for any help.

Well, there are guitar amp modeling VST's out there. Plenty of them, too. My personal favorite is Native Instruments' Guitar Rig 3. Amplitube by IK Multimedia is another good one, though I recommend GR3. However, they are not free.
If you choose to pirate software then you can find them easily. I don't condone piracy. It's just an extra thought.
GR3 has a lot of presets, but you can also create your own effects from scratch. You can add different cabinet types, different mic. types, different effects (distortion, wah wah, crunch, and anything else you can think of and would want to do).
