help with a Digitech multi-effect pedal?
Okay, I've got this Digitech multi-effect pedal (I can't remember what kind it is). Someone gave it to me, but it didn't have the power adapter that came with it. It needs a 9-volt dc adapter, which I have. My first question is wether or no the mili-ampage would have anything to do with wether or not the power cord works with the pedal. My second question is wether anyone knows what the problem with the pedal might be. I have it hooked up properly into my amp, but I can't get any sound from the guitar. I've tried cleaning the input and output jacks, and i've tried tightening the pickup things in the jacks. Any ideas? I know that was probably a little confusing. feel free to ask for clarification if needed.
Well I'm pretty sure all the Digitech multi-effects take 9V AC power, so that could be your problem. Try and find one that has as much or more mA than what the pedal says, you can see the current draw where you plug the adapter in.
