Getting a choir like guitar tone?
Guitar tone, the most ellusive damn thing known to anyone who has picked up a guitar, and has most of us tearing out our hair in frustration for the perfect tone. I was hoping the Yahoo! Answers community could help in finding or at least suggesting what I have in mind. I want a kind of tone like one heard in the Soviet National anthem and certain german choirs. I'm not exactly sure what type of effects i'd use but I know reverb, octavia, a $@#%ton of chorus and delay, a tube driver a fuzz face and mabye a 1959slp or 1987x or super 100jh. But i'm just unsure about if i'm missing anything or if someone has any other sugestions they would be very gladly appreciated.
those effects you have arent gonna get the choir sound. id look into a vocal harmoniser, digitech makes a good one,you can control how much harmony and choir you want.
a cheap way out maybe, get a whammy pedal , it will play parelell octave that emulate choir like harmony
