What kind of amp should i buy if i get a vox tonelab st multi effects pedal?
The Vox Tonelab ST pedal says it has multiple amp sims built and i plan to buy a vox valvetronix vt 100 amp with it. since the pedal has so many amps built in should i really still buy the amp or should i go for another. please help!

When your getting tone, the amp plays a huge role in that. You can spend as much money as you want getting multi effects pedals, but if you have them going in to a cheap amp, it's going to sound like it.
My recommendation is to buy seprate pedals and put them on a pedal board. that way you dont have to cycle through a lot of different effects to find the one you want.
As far as an amp, it really depends on what you want. Do you want solid state or tube? Tube amps sound great, but are a bit more expensive than solid state amps. Another thing you need to look at is what type of amp you want. Do you want a head and cab? Meaning the cabinet and the head are two seperate units, or a combo amp? I personally own a peavey 5150 combo, and love it. It's plenty loud, it's all tube, and it sounds wonderful! Don't hesitate to contact me if you have anymore questions, and I hope this helps!!!
