I want to buy the roland micro cube amp but...?
I want to make it louder. I have a thousand watt pa system head and a speaker and I heard I cant hook up the micro cube to the head and it will make it a lot louder. Is it true?
You heard wrong.
The micro cube has a recording/headphone jack output.
you may need an adapter cable to go to the PA input, depending on the input jacks of the PA.
But it should be simple to figure out and do.
the only thing to be careful doing is to not max the volume on the amp, so you don't overdrive the amp too much or over amp the input to the PA.
But you should be fine.
Any amp with headphone jacks or line outs can go into a PA system.
(You may want to consider the Line 6 spider III 15 if you are looking for a good small practice amp. I tried a Roland cube (In fact all the little amps in the store) to find a good practice amp, and the Line 6 had the best sounding effects and distortion types and is far superior to even marshall practice amp. The Peavey Vyper 15 also looks to be a goods little amp too.
the Roland cube sounded funky and was kinda noisy.
