what is the difference between the boss MD2 mega distortion pedal and the DS1 distortion pedal, are there more sound choices in the MD2?

I don't really know much about it but,
I've tried them both and I ended up buying Boss DS-1
There are indeed more options of level/gain in MD2, but I liked the sound of DS-1 a bit better...
But that's offcourse presonal In many stores you can go and try them out so you can hear which one you like better =)
