Where's the best place to sell my lightly used cloth diapers?
I have 12 BumGenius 3.0's (one size pocket diapers), 15 small (4-10lbs) Kushies Ultras, and 10 medium (10-22lbs) Kushies Ultras that I want to sell. They are all AIO cloth diapers and are all in lightly used condition with no visible wear or stains. Does anyone know where I can sell these and still get at least half of what I paid for them back or a little more?
My best experience with buying and selling cloth diapers has been craigslist. I've tried to buy BumGenius from people on there FOUR times without success because others got there first. Once someone agreed to sell me their diapers but then someone else offered them MORE than their asking price. So I'd say, with the kind and quality of diapers you are trying to sell, craigslist would be the way to go. Then they come to you and give you cash, and you don't need to ship anything.
If you are not comfortable with craigslist or there isn't one in your area, you can try diaperswappers.com. Ebay won't technically let you sell diapers, for bodily-fluid related reasons. But the people on diaperswappers know about pricing/quality, so you might get more or less than you want.
I'd put them on craigslist for 60 or 70 percent of their value first, and see if you get any takers, if not drop them to 50 percent.
