How to make a guitar have clean, heavy distortion?
I have a Fender Squier by mini, and an Ibanez amp. And I am wondering, what settings do I set my amp on to make it guitar have clean heavy distortion, like this for example
Hello there,
If your amp does not have a built in distortion effect, you will need to buy a distortion pedal to get that sound. The Boss DS-1 is a good basic distortion.
By the way, for your information, clean and distortion are opposite terms when it comes to guitar sound. A sound is clean if it has NO distortion. You may as well be learning the jargon.
