Guitar players, help me with synth pedals...?
Are there any synth pedals that can make my guitar (fender strat) sound like a synth keyboard. I'm looking for sounds like the keyboard in Jump or Love Walks In by Van Halen. I was looking at the Digitech Synth Wah Pedal, is it any good?
I dont't know about the Digitech but I can tell you by the user reviews at Harmony-central.com, the average sound rating by 40 user reviews is 8.0 and that is quite ok.
Two other much more expensive synth/filter guitar pedals, bigger, are
Electro-Harmonix HOG Synthesizer and Electro Harmonix Micro Synth Pedal and another version called Micro Synthesizer XO Analog Guitar Microsynth. Check out at amazon.com among others.
