is there a way to connect guitar to synth?
is there a way to connect an electric guitar to a midi synthesizer?I have a soft synth and I would like the guitar to sound like that.
I know that there are guitar synths but I'm not asking about it.

You need a guitar with a MIDI pickup like the Roland GK-3 and a device to interpret its signal, e.g The Roland VG-88, V-Bass, GR-33, GR-20 or GI-20. Similar devices are available from Terratec, e.g. the AXON AX 100 MKII. They're all not exactly cheap though.
Most of these device come with their own synth built-in, but they have MIDI interfaces, so you can trigger any synth or a soft-synth in your PC with a MIDI-interface from them.
