Is it alright to use a guitar distortion pedal for bass?
I have a washburn LSESLD soloist distortion pedal and wanted to make sure it was safe before i try it with the bass because I don't know much about the electronics and I dont want any circuits to blow, etc.
Bass distortion pedals and guitar distortion pedals work in similar ways. They are just designed to amplify and cut different frequencies. You won't break anything by using one with the other; it's just that the tone might not be what you're looking for.
