Guitar effects pedal question?
You know the fuzz guitar effect right, well my simple question is what is the best kind of fuzz pedal I can purchase? I love the effect and want to make an informed purchase. So far I have looked at the Boss Fuzz pedal, I think its discontinued but I found one for sale for $80 on Kijiji, and the Fuzz Face I think it's called? Either that or Fuzz Box, I don't really remember, but what is reputedly the best fuzz guitar effect pedal I can buy? Doesn't have to be official, even your opinion is great, thanks all!
i have both the usa and russian made big muffs and personally i like the russian more. it gives a raunchier sound. fuzz face is a pretty classic pedal but sounds are pretty limited with that pedal. the best fuzz tone i have gotten is from my multi fx pedal. It let me shape and sculpt the sound very precisely. I got a dead on emulation of fell in love with a girl by the white stripes.
