basics to setting up a guitar effects pedal chain?
I am new to setting up an effects pedal chain. I have a vox v847a wah, boss tu-2 (to kill signal to amp during gigs), fulltone full drive 2, ibanez ts9dx, and boss dd-6.
I just want to know what are the basics to which comes first and last in the chain to get the best sound and why? Any info is much appreciated.
The norm is to go guitar into BOSS TU2----WAH-----fulltone -------ts9-----BOSS DD6.
That is the standard, but sometimes you have to break the cycle to find your favorite sound or tone. Go crazy really, its your rig. I personally tend to put my modulation (chorus, flanger etc etc) last.
