What amp does Clapton use?
What amp does eric clapton use? I love the sound he had during the 2007 crossroads music festival. does anyone know what amp and effects he uses to get that signature blues sound?
As far as I've always known Eric DOESN'T use any effects but his fingers to get that awesome blues sound. Well that and the key he tunes his guitar to. That is a most important feature which is why you can usually tell who's who with older guitarists---they had a signature tone/sound with their guitar. If you really listen you can hear how different Eric Clapton is to Carlos Santana is to Brian May is to Gregg Allman.Even Eddie Van Halen had a unique sound. As for amps I would guess its a standard Marshall or Peavey. Oh, It could be a Fender as Eric is fond of Fender products.
