Electric Guitar Pedal Question!!!!?
Ok, my friend has been playing guitar for 3 years, and I'm thinking to get him a pedal for his birthday. The only thing is, I have no clue how to use a pedal, how to set up a pedal, or which pedal to get. I'm thinking to get a multi-effect pedal, but I'm not sure. Can you help me out?
Depends on how much you're willing to spend. The problem with individual pedals is they produce a lot of noise as you add more pedals, so if you try to run a bunch of effects you're going to get a nasty hum (at the very least). A multi-effect pedal is the best way to go, and you don't have to worry about how it works -- they all come with manuals, so your friend can figure it out.
