electronics guitar effects pedal exploded?
ok i got a guitar pedal to day ... Behringer Rv600 ... i had no spare 9v batterys so i found an old power suply that had 10 volts i plugged it in and it made a loud noise out of the amp and i rememberd this happened with an old pedal when i used that power supply so i took out an old 9v battery and was going 2 put it in when the pedals on light went off so i tryed putting the battery in and no light came on... and i tryed putting the power supply in and no light came on ... on the side it says u should only use the ac adapter from behringer or a battery .. the one i plugged in was a 10v ac adapter ..so does this mean i have blown something inside it or what?

I agree, it should not explode under those conditions, and from your description, you mention no explosion.
One volt over should not cause any problems, but the supply may have other problems, eg, it may be broken and supplying a much higher voltage. Or could the supply have been AC instead of DC?
But right now you have a broken pedal that you need to fix. Check the documentation, see if there are any fuses.
