In the solar modules,what is the effects for increasing the short circuit current?
If the Isc and Voc increased more than the required values, what are the effects on the solar system?
If the Isc of the solar module was high, Can this be considered as a good sign that the module will not be damaged easily.
Regarding the system, if a charge controller is installed in the system, no currents will damage the battery.
The value of the Isc (when the panel was used )is more than the value (in the datasheet), what is the effects of this case on the system reliability?
Assuming you are charging a battery and are using a charge controller:
If you increase the open circuit voltage, you will probably just operate at a lower efficiency. Your battery will draw enough current to bring the solar panel voltage down to its level. Chances are that this will not be the optimum operating point.
If you increase the short circuit current, you just have to be sure the charge controller can handle it and that the battery can absorb it. I set up a small system just for fun and found that the panel provided much more current than the battery could absorb. This is what happened: the panel delivered a lot of current, the battery voltage appeared high because of internal resistance, the charge controller interpreted the high voltage as a full battery and disconnected the panel. So on bright, sunny days, I couldn't get my battery to charge because the charge controller thougt it was fully charged even though it wasn't.
