I saw a pedal used by an artist that gave a thudding effect and sounded like a bass drum. What is it?
I saw a blues musician play a set a few weeks ago, and one of the pedals he put through the amp was one that if he stamped or brought his foot down it it made a loud thudding noise that sounded distinctly like a bass drum. It was only him and his guitar playing, and it sounded very full. Does anybody know if this is a type of pedal/pad and if it is available to purchase?
Ill take a chance, and say it was a stomp board, easy to make, get a cheap Mic, and a shallow box, secure the mic inside the box, plug in and stomp away!!!
