Problems with wah and feedback?
when i use my wah-wah pedal with distortion, when i am rocking it back and forth, it makes this loud, squeaky tone, like there's too mcuh distortion or current. here is a list of the gear I'm using.
-Highway 1 fender strat with 3 alnico single-coil pickups (very distortion friendly)
-35 watt roland amp
-BOSS overdrive/distortion pedal (tone, colour, drive all the way up)
-Dunlop Classic Crybaby wah-wah pedal
How can I get rid of the feedback and squeaky noises from my wah-wah pedal?
Try this - Back off the tone on the boss. The high treble will cause a WAH to scream. Use the neck pickup on the strat to cut out the highs. Cut down the treble setting on the Roland. Good Luck!
