Line 6 - Spider III Amplifier - Distortion?
So i got a new electric guitar (yay!) and I got the new Spider III along. The distortion on the amplifier says as following:
Clean (no Distortion)
Twang
Blues
Crunc
Metal
Insane
What I want o know is what the heck is the Insane? When i put it on and play it just makes electrical noises (sounds like i smashed my guitar on the floor).
Any help? the presets also contain some Insane readings so im not sure.
The Insane mode:
This model is Line 6's "dialed in for shredding" version based on* the Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier red channel. It combines the intensity and impact of Metal Red, but delivers more midrange and teeth for that bone-crushing, brain piercing insane grind.
