I was thinking of getting this distortion pedal as opposed to a 200 dollar one because I don't really have that great of a guitar or amp, but I just want some distortion. It's just for my own play, nothing serious. And I've heard that is sucks batteries pretty quick. How quick is quick? like a week or a month? I really love heavy metal and would really love to play and sound similar to some of my fav songs, so do you think this would be a good buy?
thats a good pedal, some other good ones are the boss metal zone and the digitech df-7 distortion factory, but any pedal you get, i would highly recommend getting the power adapter for it bc hte batteries do die rather quickly depending on how much you use it. i have the df-7 and it has a range from light to pretty heavy distortion.
