Hey, what do you think about the Digitech GNX3000?
I play Metallica, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Pantera and want to get into BB King/Eric Clapton style blues. The Digitech is right in my price range and just wondering about it. I'm going to be jamming at home and am starting to perform live more. I had the digitech RP250 and didn't really like it. Couldn't get the Metallica sound i wanted. I play lead by the way. Any suggestions besides the GNX? Do you like the sound of it? I know nothing beats the sweet sound of a tube but can't afford one right now. I'm only 13 so price range isn't huge.
Hi. Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents here about the GNX3000. In my humble opinion, it's the BEST unit out there right now hands down. Even over the vaunted GNX4.
Theres alot of competing multi FX units out there, but what I've noticed with my GNX3000, is that I can play the metalist of metal tones(you CAN do AC/DC or Metallica), to the buesiest of Blues to the cleanest of cleans. The highlights of this machine are literally endless. And if you ever need to record onto the computer.....this thing does it so effortlessly it's crazy. Try it with headphones!!!
So do yourself a favor.....get one!!! Forget the rest.But that's just my opinion.Good Luck.Bill
