Would this be a good Guitar Set-up?
I've gotten really into guitar recently, and decided that just my Stratocaster wouldn't be enough. I need a variety of tones, features, and just glory from guitars and effects. Before I raise for these, is it worth it?
Guitars:
Epiphone Dot Studio (Semi-Acoustic)
Epiphone Les Paul Standard (Electric)
Epiphone Explorer GT (Electric)
Epiphone DR-100 (Acoustic)
Fender Stratocaster (Electric)
Effects:
Amp: Fender Frontman 25r
Danelectro BLT Echo
Ibanez FZ5 60's Fuzz
Danelectro Wasabi Delay
FAB Flanger
Ibanez Super Chorus
The 3 Epiphone electrics all have virtually identical electronics. (unless the dot has p-90s)
The Paul and the Explorer sound nearly identical and both are very heavy guitars. I have owned both of them (Gibsons) and changed to Ibanez guitars years ago because they can achieve the sounds of the Gibsons and the Strats and have much better tremolos. The Frontman is a good amp that has a good distortion so you don't really need the fuzz pedal. The Danelectro effects are inexpensive and do not offer super great quality sound, but they are adequate and cheap enough to go with a whole "dano" set up. Get the fab chorus and overdrive too.
