Danelectro Pastrami
Danelectro Pastrami Overdrive for $30. Is this a good pedal? Is this a good price for it?

It's called Tuna Melt Tremolo.

Hello there,

I have and use a Pastrami Overdrive. In fact I have several Danelectro pedals. They are pretty good for the price. With one of my older amps (has no effects), I use the Pastrami overdrive, the T-Bone distortion, and the Corned Beef reverb pedal. I like their tremolo pedal, don't recall what they call it. Their Black Licorice is a good pedal. It is a very heavy fuzz pedal. I have their phraser, compressor and others, but those I seldom use.

That price seems pretty high to me. I watch eBay for them used. I generally pick up Danelectro pedals used between $5 and $10. Their cool cat chorus pedal runs more.

Later,

Hello again,

I jus looked on eBay to see what is there now.

There is one pedal with the bidding at $1 that has 19 hours left.

You can pick one up with the Buy It Now feature for $15.

So, I would not spend more that $16 on one. If you are patient and watch the auctions, you may get one for around $5.

Hello again,
Yes, Tuna Melt Tremolo. Thanks. I was too lazy to walk over to the pedal case and check the names. I was wrong on the fuzz, it is Black Coffee. It is a really heavy dirty fuzz.
The other Danelectro pedals I still have are
Surf & Turf compressor, Hash Browns plangeer, Pepperoni phaser, and BLT slap echo. I also picked up a couple of their pedal cases used for cheap.Pretty handy way to handle the pedals. I had several other Danelectro pedals and liked them. I gave them to my nephews when they started learning guitar. They are pretty good for the price.
