Danelectro Daddy
what is a cheap way to get a very unique guitar sound?

I'm 14 been playing six years. I own a fender strat, vox vt 15, danelectro daddy o, and i will soon own a big muff. i am looking for a pedal or technical advice on how to get my rig to sound more unique.

It's not all about the equipment. The Edge sounds unique, and look at how many effects he uses. But then again, Angus Young sounds unique, and he uses none.

Throughout the history of the electric guitar, there have been some "happy accidents" along the way where someone hooked something up "wrong" and got a sound they liked.

Some people customize their equipment in search of a "unique" sound.

Just remember that a lot of your "sound" comes from your fingers. How you attack and fret the strings, your phrasing, and your vibrato all have as much (or more) impact on your sound as does the amp/guitar/effects.

I've been playing a lot longer than you, and I'm still looking for my "unique" sound. But hey, part of the fun is the chase when you're looking for a certain tone!

Good luck to you.

Greetings from Austin, TX

Ken
