Would you recommend gigging with Danelectro Cool Cat pedals?
I'm thinking of getting some cool cat pedals (namely Vibe, Fuzz and possibly Transparent Overdrive, all current versions) to gig with and just for noodling around at home. I already have a Danelectro Dano Pro, which is the guitar I'll be gigging with.
Are the Cool Cat pedals good enough to gig with?
Hello my friend, how are you?
It depends what you're looking for really. If you like the sound of them, then yes they are good enough. I think danelectro is a pretty good make. There's so much emphasis on boutique (hand made) gear these days, but it's not always necessary or worth it.
The danelectro pedals will probably not be as durable as more expensive brands, but again will be fine to gig with. My friend gigs happily with behringer pedals, which are pretty much the cheapest ones you can get.
By the way, nice guitar too, they have some quirky models!
Good luck, and have fun rockin' out!
