Who sponsors car audio systems?
I have a new 2005 F150 4X4. I have 22" rims on it, and I have a decent system. The only thing is I want to take it to the next level and do SPL competitions. I would just need a sponsor for a SPL competetion system, custom paint, and interior electronics. If anyone has an idea where to start please let me know. I would like to work something out. I also have a buddy who has an 88 Ford Bronco that needs some work, but we are willing to do the work if we can find someone willing to sponsor him for a SPL competion. I realize my limitation versus him is space.

I worked in a head office of a major electronics chain for 10 years and went to countless car audio competitions - it was rare for somebody to be sponsored.
The "brands" do their own cars.
