these are questions I really dont have an answer to ....
Well, in Greek theatre, you have to realize that the audience stretched out to sometimes at least 3 football fields long. so when people tell you to be loud, it was even worse for them. So to solve the problem they had these giant chorus members who would all do these big giant moves and be super loud so the audience would hear them. so now you have the actors, and the chorus. well wouldn't you think that what the chorus says needs to be short sweet and to the point? there are so many of them and we don't want to lose what they say. Also, since they are the narrator's, they need to say what is happening as it is happening.
