What would be a good order to put my guitar effects in?
I have a fender starcaster flanger, danelectro chili dog octave, dunlop original crybaby, digitech death metal distortion, digitech bad monkey overdrive, first act 222 distortion, and a danelectro FAB chorus. what would be a good order to put these? ordered guitar -> [effects] -> amp
Hi, John! Try placing the CryBaby first, followed by the Flanger, then the overdrive and distortion pedals. Next would come the Chili Dog Octoave, and finally the Fab Chorus. If you have a delay or reverb pedal, it should be last. You may want to switch some of the pedals around to get a different sound, but Guitar>Wah>Compressor>Overdrive>EQ> Pitch>Modulation>Level>Echo>Amplifier is a fairly standard formula.
