geremy... i did find this on sale for $500 including the power supply and cables to hook them up, everything is almost new. thats why i am asking if i should just get this or the BOSS GT-10. the gt-10 is also $500 new
i'm sorry that's overkill...especially coming from someone that feels the need to ask if it's a good set-up....you wouldn't know what to do with it all would you...you'll be turning knobs and watching all those purdy blinking lights though,huh...
I'd go without the tuner, dual overdrive,chorus,noise supressor(what the hell you get that for?) and i wouldn't need the dual footswtich...
you should get the GT-10 and learn about compression/delay/etc. through that first...then you'll realize what little gear you really need to get a great sound...also some of the things you got in the chain are going to be either in a good amp, or a good sound board at the gig...what magazine did you get that out of?
maybe if you explained what you wanyed to do with regards to playing your guitar o-O we could have helped you instead of this noobfest list..
at least you got a decent wah in the chain...do you know what a chain is?
i get the feeling you found this on sale somewhere...if it's cheap then get it...but you need to learn that stuff first...or you won't know why it colors your sounds and how...

alright i saw your added details and just as i suspected...um...it's probably a smart purchase man to be honest....you can come across a Boss GT-10 or 8 or even a GT-6 any old time..I run the GT-6..got mine for $250.00 used...but coming across all that gear for $500.00 in good shape is gonna be a once or twice in a lifetime thing...while you got the money ready to go that is...go ahead and grab it dude...to be honest it is really limited in what it can do for you...but the big positives here are the Crybaby, the pedal case, and the fact that you can sell some of the other stuff to help you get the GT-10 ...booyah!
