What should I get a Overdrive pedal or a Tube Screamer?
I need a new pedal, something to boost soloing... I dont know which I should get, overdrive will give me a good soloing boost, but I play metal and the screamer will give me better sounding pinch harmonics... Which one should I get? I have a Line 6 Spider III 15watt PRACTICE AMP!
Stop telling me to get a new amp, I have a different amp exept I use my 15watt the most.
Which do you like better? My advice, save your money and get a bigger amp
The tube screamer will also boost your signal, reduce the distortion on it and set the volume to the amount of boost you desire. Since you are already getting a good distortion from your amp you will only need a little bit of edge from the tube screamer to get extra overdrive from the amp. If your other amp is a bigger amp you can run the headphone out of the line 6 into the other amp to get more volume and still have the line 6 sound you like
