Crappy Wah Pedal?

I bought a new Daphon DF2210 wah pedal from a music shop through ebay and it's terrible. it works backwards, so each pedal position makes the effects it's meant to show in the exact opposite position. When it's in the 'off' position (or in this pedal's case, the foreward position) it seems to boost the treble so much that it hurts to hear. And on top of that, the damn thing is picking up the radio channels and playing at least four of them at the same time through the amp. Can people just confirm to me that this pedal is whacked, or is there something i might not be doing right?

Wow! I've never heard of anything like that before. It sounds like a piece of junk. I have a Cry Baby and it works fine.
