US electronic equipment in India, need extra adapter for charging battery?
I am getting a camcorder from US. Will I need an extra adapter to charge its battery (because there might be differences in the frequency, voltage etc of the current they use there in US and what we use in India)?
Or the normal one that comes with it will do fine? Any idea?
I bought my handy cam from US. I just need a converter, which costs between Rs10 - 20. As all the major brands give you a voltage range between 110 - 240. You can read in the manuals. If you are not sure you can buy a step down transformer, which would cost you between Rs 250 - 300. that's all you need to worry, nothing more.
