I just got a new bass and now want a fuzz pedal, any suggestions?
First, before anything, see if you can get a fuzz tone from your amp's drive, input volume or boost. Bass amps are usually made to give you tastee fuzz and growl with enough tweeking. If this doesn't work, Try some pedals out, but try to go for one with true bypass and one that doesn't cut your lows,(THIS IS IMPORTANT) If you have fuzz going, and your bass is cut out, you will be lost in the guitar and drums, the bass is all you can hear over them, and it takes at least 300watts to get over the drums and guitar.
