Bridge pins on acoustic guitar don't fit the bridge pin puller notch?!?
I have an Epiphone and I'm trying to restring it.
I already loosened the string, but now the bridge pins are my problem.
In the picture of the bridge pin:

>>>>>>My bridge pins don't have a skirt.
All of the youtube videos I watched, the bridge pins have skirts.
I already tried to push the string down and take out the bridge pin up, but it didn't work.
The skirt is irrelevant although, if you want good Bridge pins, the best are the wooden ones.
In your case, you small pliers an gently grab it from the top ad twist slightly, clockwise and counter-clockwise and pulling at the same time. The pin will come out without any problem. It won't break.
When you change the string and push the pin back in, put your thumb on it and yand the string so that it rests against the bridge pin inside.
